Being safe from the sun by being under a roof is still not that safe for your skin. Overexposure to sunlight can still occur while you are indoors. The lights indoors can imitate the unnecessary effects of prolonged contact to sun. In addition to this, the harsh UV rays can also infiltrate through thick glass. The tint on your car windows won’t protect your skin either. The window tints may not be able to completely sift the harmful rays of the sun. Applying some SPF 15 or sunscreen on your skin everyday can come in handy to protect you from those nasty UV rays.

The seeds contain unsaturated oils that contains chemicals and compounds that may hold the key to better sunscreens for tomorrow having both uses in moisturizers, sunscreens and conditioners. Oil extracted form the seeds have been found to contain known anti-UV agents such as tocopherols which protects and nourishes the skin.
Products that contain the said unsaturated fats also make good biodegradable products, lessening the risk of harmful chemicals washing into waters polluting them and killing off plant and marine life. Studies into the major components of the lowly milkweed are still undergoing but initial results are very promising, for the next generation of sunscreens and skin care products.
